Christmas at Liberty’s

After enjoying our lovely Afternoon Tea at the Chesterfield Mayfair, my hubby and I decided to pop into the gorgeous Liberty department store in London, for a spot of luxury noseying.

I absolutely love Liberty’s and always enjoy the different departments that are housed in the gorgeous, traditional building and this time was no exception. Like many people, I love Christmas and get so caught up in the big build up to it, so you could imagine my surprise and excitement when I discovered Liberty’s Christmas shop was all up and running and ready for business!

I know what you’re thinking, it’s only September and you’re right of course, but I couldn’t help but get really excited, I had to go and see it! So grabbing my hubby’s hand, we went in search of the new Christmas department in the hope of seeing Santa and his reindeer!

I have to admit, when I stepped out of the lift, I was like a kid in a candy store. Glistening fairy lights, beautifully decorated Christmas trees, white polar bears and cute, red robins were in abundance. I was mesmerised.

There was literally something for everyone, from London Bus and Big Ben tree decorations to gold and silver sequin reindeers and if you fancied some festive potpourri, the Christmas fruit bags were so gorgeous and smelt absolutely divine.

We could have spent all day there, but after leisurely taking our time gazing at all the sparkly decorations and soaking up the seasonal, festive atmosphere, we eventually decided to purchase some very cute baubles.

It was lovely to walk round and enjoy all the magical displays and we departed the store feeling, even more so, that Christmas is just around the corner.
