What better way to celebrate Chocolate Week, than a day out at The Chocolate Show in London. Held at the Olympia National Hall, The Chocolate Show was on from 14th-16th October and was a fantastic finale to the hugely celebrated Chocolate Week.
We booked our family tickets for the Sunday and arrived nice and early, ready to enjoy the greatly anticipated shows and events.
It was certainly a chocoholic’s paradise and we were in our element walking around and sampling all the different products, from the creamiest, sweetest white chocolate to the richest, exotic dark chocolate. We also tasted a variety of different flavoured fudge and enjoyed sampling the many chocolate flavoured liqueurs. One of my favourite taste bud experiences of the whole day was trying the delicious and extremely moreish chocolate champagne! This I have to say was well worth the visit alone.
There was literally something for everyone, whether you wanted to buy a gift for someone or just simply buy something for yourself. I was spoilt for choice, but couldn’t leave without purchasing a bag of roasted chocolate green tea, perfect for indulging and enjoying at home.
Another spectacular event was an exhibition of dresses and outfits made partly from chocolate. We didn’t manage to watch the fashion show, however we did get to admire all the outfits, which were absolutely fabulous and so cleverly put together.
Visiting The Chocolate Show was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend it, especially if you’re a chocolate lover. We can’t wait to book again for next year.
