They say first impressions count and this is certainly the case for these fabulous chocolates from Robins & Sons chocolatiers. They definitely have the wow factor, their presentation is second to none and they simply ooze luxury and pure decadence, so a huge thank you to Andrea at Robins & Sons for sending me some of her lovely chocolates to try, I was very spoilt. Each and every one was simply delicious and it was an absolute treat to sample some of her luxury handmade goodies.
Robins & Sons chocolatiers are a small family run online business, which produce and sell a huge variety of milk, dark and white luxury chocolate, all lovingly handmade from their family home in Wales and they only use the finest natural ingredients, with no artificial colours or flavours. There is a great selection of unique chocolate to choose from, including Easter gifts, Mother’s day gifts, wedding and party favours, corporate gifts, hampers and gifts for children, so there really is something for everyone. The presentation of each individual item with the little extra details is so impressive, you can really tell that a huge amount of thought and effort has gone into making these gifts extremely special and to receive any of these delicious treats would truly make your day.
From the Very Berry range, a creamy White Chocolate Heart with dried strawberries, raspberries and sweet crunchy meringue pieces.
Delicious Nut Clusters, consisting of caramelised whole and chopped hazelnuts in 70% dark chocolate. If you’re a nut fan, you will totally love these.
Mint Chocolate Crackle, available in both milk or dark chocolate, infused with natural peppermint oil, topped with a sprinkling of crushed mint candy cane pieces.
Orange Chocolate Crackle, available in either milk or dark chocolate, with natural orange oil topped with finely crushed fruit candy cane. I was sent both varieties to try and the tangy orange flavour in both was really delicious.
Salted Caramel Nibble, available in milk or dark chocolate, encrusted with crunchy Salty Caramel nibs and flakes of Mediterranean sea salt.
Fruit and Nut Cluster, consisting of thick milk chocolate surrounding sweet orange, cranberry and almond pieces. This was just divine.
Sicilian Lemon Crunch, available in either milk or dark chocolate with natural lemon oil, lemon sugar crystals and crunchy meringue.
Dipped Oranges. These were my absolute favourite. Whole candied orange slices, half coated in either milk or dark Belgian chocolate. Totally gorgeous!
I was also sent the Easter 2017 gift guide, which is full of a variety of lovely gift ideas, including one of my favourite gifts, a Little Italy Coffee Gift Bag. Think I’ll be dropping a few hints for my Easter or Mother’s Day gift this year! The gift guide also includes a lovely recipe for making Double Chocolate and Almond Biscotti, definitely one to try for the future and you can find many other recipes on the Robins & Sons website.
Needless to say, these fabulous chocolates didn’t last very long in our household and I will definitely be putting some of these gorgeous gifts on my future wish lists!
